Launched in 1955, the Byrdland combined the refined character of a custom-built L5CES with a slimmer profile. And to ensure easy access to the higher frets, the guitar features a Venetian cutaway, which replaced the Florentine cutaway in 1969.
This guitar, built in 1969, features two Patent No. humbuckers and all-original electronics. The guitar's finish shows the crackle and playwear so familiar from vintage Gibsons, giving it its beloved look.
