Eastman's MD404 is a refreshing addition to the standard F and A mandolins that feature F holes. This with-oval-sounding-hole equipped mandolin harks back to the days of mandolin orchestras, but also manages to surprise and inspire players today with its full and balanced sound that leads to innovative applications.

This Eastman is like every individual and hand-built with traditional materials and "Old World" craftsmanship. The mahogany soundboard is paired with a spruce top, and paired with a maple neck with ebony fingerboard. The contrasting rosette and adjustable bridge complete this instrument.
