Eastman MDO305 Octave Mandolin

Individually hand-crafted using time-honored methods & premium hand-carved solid tonewoods with solid Spruce top, solid Maple back & sides.

Individually made according to time-honoured methods, using premium, handcrafted tonewood.

Like violins, the mandolin is part of an entire family. After the mandolin comes the Mandola, then the Mandocello and finally the Mando-bass. The octave mandolin is a kind of Irish step-sister of the family, but is no less loved for it.

Because of its lower register, it is often used as an accompanying instrument, with its deep and rich sound.

Like other OMs, this Octave mandolin features an A-style body with a solid maple side and back and a solid spruce top, maple neck, ebony fingerboard and adjustable ebony bridge. Perfectly tuned and finished like Eastman and ready to be played.
